Over the past 15+ years, I have helped a diverse array of companies thrive through the development, implementation and management of Digital Marketing strategies. I’ve helped keep a roof-cleaning company afloat through tough times, a fledgling bike shop find its feet and South Africa’s #1 online florist penetrate overseas markets. Using websites, SEO, paid ads, email and social media, I’ve sold everything from flowers & neoprene can coolers to tickets, pies and financial services.

Most of my clients have experienced growth of over 50%, sometimes organically (no paid ads).

I have a theory that every human being is built to do something really well. For example, someone who is intelligent, nurturing and patient would make a great teacher. In a way, that person is a teacher. I am a marketer. And because I'm bright, creative and experienced, I'm a good one.

When I first started out, I wanted to be a filmmaker. I was one of the first students to attend the New York Film Academy and, soon after finishing, I was getting professional experience shooting and editing video. A lucky break found me interning at Click3x in NYC where I learned about animation, video editing and visual effects and worked with cutting-edge technology. I was a high-end visual effects artist for several years. I know video.

I also know audio and music, which I have been producing for almost 20 years. My videos sound great! Audio, especially music, is often an afterthought when it comes to video production but it's really important. Nothing kills production values quicker than bad audio.

My writing chops are also respectable thanks to 4 years at Middlebury College, where every class had a writing component. Words (content) are the lifeblood of Digital Marketing, so my wordsmithing skills come in handy every day. I do keyword research and write text for websites, ads, scripts...

Given my writing and other skills, I'm able to produce/edit professional content from text and photos for your website to radio ads and tv commercials. Handy. But I'm not a marketer simply because I possess these skills. I'm a marketer because I'm creative & insightful. Because I can find opportunities in data, have a good sense of humor and can always come up with a new idea. In Digital Marketing, ideas can be tested, quickly, to find the ones that work best. Ideas solve problems and drive growth.
